  1. Why I cannot run OurQFace software nor Video Template Editor?
You will need to install Microsoft DirectX 9.0 (or later) system components (runtimes).

  2. Why my video template file is so big?
To create smaller video template file, you will need to use video compression. To create smaller video template file, the recommended video compression is "Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V2". However, there may have some distortions to the images of the created video template file due to the video compression.

  3. Why there are distortions of the images when I play my created video template file?
The distortions are likely due to video compression. To create video template file with no distortions, try to create the video template file with no or less video compression. For less or no distortion, the recommended video compression is "(No Compression)" or "MJPEG Compressor". However, the created video template file may be big due to the limited video compression.

  4. Why the images to the end are not found in the created video template file?
The video template file created by the freeware version is limited to a maximum of 127 images. Images beyond 127 images to the end are therefore not included in the video template file.

  5. I do not want any face nor background to superimpose on the first image of my video template. Or, I do not want any face nor background to superimpose on one of the image of my video template. How do do it?
You will need to add a thin border around that image. OurQFace software will skip any image with a border around it. Hence, no face nor background will be superimposed on such images.

  6. I understand that some of the images in the video template can be empty, and need not be edited by me, because they will not be displayed. Which are these input image files to the Video Template Editor that can be empty, and need not be edited by me?
The first 5 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the images of the video template can be empty, except the first image. As the first image is always displayed even when the video is not playing, you are advised to place the title of your video template and other useful information in the first image.

  7. How is the input image files to the Video Template Editor named?
The input image files are named with the name provide by you, followed by a 5-digit number, and then the .bmp file extension. For example: YourName00100.bmp

  8. How to edit each of the input image files to the Video Template Editor?
You can use Microsoft Paint, or any other image editing software.

  9. Can the input image files to the Video Template Editor have different sizes?
No. All the images must have the same size.

  10. Can I use other software to produce the video template file?
Yes. You can use any other video editing software to produce the video template file, as long as the face patterns are drawn according to the
    OurQFace Face Pattern Guidelines.

  11. Can I have an explanation of the OurQFace Face Pattern Guidelines?
